Full Day Camp
Do you need a safe, fun place for your child to go when school is out?
Come to the YMCA Full Day Camps. We offer supervised fun, activities, games, and swimming (at the Laurens site on some days). Bring lunch, (swim suit & towel at the Laurens site). Located at the Laurens YMCA and Ware Shoals Primary School 7:00 am – 5:45 pm Ages 3 – 13 (Laurens Site) Ages 2 – 13 (Ware Shoals Site).

The Laurens YMCA will offer Full Day Care for children ages 2 – 4 at the Ware Shoals Primary School. You can register now at the Laurens YMCA, Ware Shoals Town Hall, or at the Ware Shoals Primary School. 10% Discount to all School District 51 and 55 employees
Information on these programs and registration packets may be picked up at Ware Shoals School District 51 office, Ware Shoals Primary and Elementary Schools, Ware Shoals Town Hall and the Laurens YMCA. You may register at the Laurens YMCA or at the Ware Shoals Primary School.
Mother’s Morning Out
Mother’s Morning Out
Mother’s Morning Out is a program that includes several activities that help your child discover new activities through a play based environment! They will have teacher directed play centers that are based around the theme of the month. Each month has it’s own theme. This program will be held at the Lauren's YMCA on Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. Ages include 6 weeks to 5 years old and will be separated appropriately.
Monthly Fees:
YMCA Members: $50
Non-Members: $70
Each Additional Child is $10
Parent’s Night Out
Come join us for this new program! Do you need time to go Christmas shopping, run errands, or just relax? This is a perfect opportunity for you do the things you need to do while your children are having a blast! They will have beach volley ball, sports, games, arts, crafts, and even dinner and a movie! All of our staff are trained in child abuse prevention, CPR, 1st aid, Oxygen, BBP, and have experience working with children. The cost is $10.00 per night and will be held November 16th, December 7th, and December 14th from 5:30 pm till 9:00 pm.

Pre-School / After School
YMCA After School & Pre-School Programs
The Laurens YMCA is now taking registrations for the After School Program to be held in the following schools: E.B. Morse, Ford, and Ware Shoals Primary. After School for Sanders, Laurens Middle, and Laurens Elementary will be transported to the YMCA. Ware Shoals Elementary will be transported to Ware Shoals Primary for the After School Program. The After School program runs from school dismissal until 5:45 pm Arrangements must be made with Childcare Director Jennifer Hughes for pick-up after 5:45 pm.
The Laurens YMCA is also taking registrations for the 4K Pre-School Program to be held at Ware Shoals Primary School and E.B. Morse. The 4K Pre-School Program opens at 7:00 am in Ware Shoals and 7:15 am at E.B. Morse and is available to children in half day Pre-School and runs until school dismissal.

Summer Day Camp

The Family YMCA of Greater Laurens is now taking registrations for Summer Day Camp! The Summer Day Camp is offered for ages 3 - 13 at three locations: Laurens, Gray Court, and Waterloo. This program is also offered for ages 2 - 13 at the Ware Shoals location. The program starts June 9th and will run through August 15th. The Summer Day Camp operates from 7:00 am - 6:00 pm. This program offers recreational and educational adventures, along with arts, crafts, outdoor activities, devotions, swimming, field trips and much more! Lunch and snack will be provided. All of our camp counselors have experience working with children and are certified in CPR, AED, First Aid, Oxygen, Blood Borne Pathogens, and Child Abuse Prevention. |
